We’ve been quietly working on some big updates on Winio, and now it’s time to show you and ask for your feedback🤘.
📝 Introducing Docs
Winio was designed to center team communication and collaboration around tasks, but along the way, we found that people often use Google Docs/ Spreadsheets to write ideas down, share knowledge and processes, take meeting notes, etc. In fact, a lot of “project management” is kept outside the tools designed to make people collaborate. But now this problem is solved 🎉! I’m proud to introduce you the Docs 😎

We have tweaked and fine-tuned Winio UI and UX across the app. If you are an early user you’ll notice a huge improvement, and I’m sure you’ll like it!
Project Color 🎨
When you have a lot of projects running at the same time can be very hard to scan the most relevant projects to you. This is why we decide to introduce the project colors. You can assign a color for interest area, e.g. Green for Marketing, Blue for Tech or you can be an artist and make your project overview a perfect canvas to make your project list appealing 😉. My best advice, go for the first use case.

Command Center 🕹
When a task is assigned to you, it will appear in “My Tasks” section. But, sometimes it’s hard to realize what task is more important and what you should focus immediately. Now, you have what we call the “Command Center” 💥, it’s the place where will appear the most relevant task that needs your attention and completion to make projects flow.

Sometimes the prioritization of projects at a strategic and operational level is the key difference between success and failure. Now you can provide to your team the priority level of the project to make sure everyone focus on the most important things first.

Because a task could be much more than a binary state of done or not done we’re working to supercharge your work by providing even more information about the status of each task and track it in a way that is more meaningful for your team. Very soon you’ll be able to assign a Status field to your tasks.

We want to make your team workflow smoother and flawless this is why very soon you’ll be able to create task dependencies. Teams with a collaborative mindset can easily see what tasks are waiting on from others and when they could start their chunk of work.
